BS General Admission Requirements
All students that apply to the Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program at the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine must complete these requirements along with the requirements of the corresponding requirements below:
- Fill out the admission form and apply at the admissions office. The form can be accessed at the School webpage (www.sanjuanbautista.edu) or in campus.
- Submit a Negative Criminal Background Check (CBC) (only if 18 years or older).
- Have completed high school at an institution recognized by the Department of Education of P.R. or its equivalent with a minimum grade average (GPA) of 2.50.
- Submit an official academic transcript from high school, evidencing graduation (Diploma).
- Interview: applicants that meet the eligibility criteria for admission will be summoned for an interview.
High school Requirements
- Official results of one of the following admission tests:Prueba de admisión universitaria (PAA), or Scholastic Aptitude Test(SAT).
- Non-refundable certified check or money order for the amount of $25.00 payable to San Juan Bautista School of Medicine.
Associate degree Requirements
The SJBSM admission committee will consider applications from candidates who have completed an Associate Degree in Nursing at a recognized institution with a GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Have completed an associate degree in nursing with a minimum of 2.75 GPA.
LPN Requirements
- Provide a copy of an active PR LPN state license, or USA.
- Demonstrate evidence of LPN-LVN work experience.
