The students are the main beneficiaries of the mission of San Juan Bautista School of Medicine. The Institution has a commitment to its students in respect dignity, integrity and diversity. To ensure the aforementioned, there are several rules and regulations, which articulate the rights and duties of the School and of the students. Some of them are known as Physical Assault, Forgery, Sexual Harassment Policy, Banning of Alcohol and Controlled Drugs, Banning Damage to Equipment or Facilities, Code of Honor, Dress Code, Laboratory Code (Basic Sciences) and the Confidentiality of Patient's Information, known as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Another important commitment for San Juan Bautista School of Medicine is to assure the well being and overall development of the students, providing them the services needed to complete efficiently their studies. These services are promotion and recruitment, admissions, counseling, financial aid, registration, housing information, counseling on the internship year, student organizations and extracurricular activities.
